I began creating art under Dream Field Studio in early 2024, when I desperately needed a physical space to learn about life and get out of my head. 

At its core, my work is about capturing feelings and memories, nostalgia, daydreams, experiences I need to process, and a visual study of many of my interests. I’ve always been captivated by flowers. Obviously, because they are beautiful, but also because they’re a comforting metaphor for life. They hold so many emotions - joy, pain, celebration, mourning, and love. They grow into beautiful existence, their season ends, and the cycle continues. 

My hope is that my work finds the people who need it most. People who need something interesting to look at, something that brings them peace or joy or curiosity. People who need a gift that says “I’m so sorry this happened,” or “I love you,” or “Congratulations.” I hope that my work brings a sense of home, comfort, joy, and peace.

I currently live in Charleston, South Carolina with my husband, Ben. I am an elementary art teacher by day, and I explore all that is Dream Field Studio in my after-hours.
